MISSION BRIEFING
SITESapas Mons — educational Venus rover exploration.
VEHICLEROVER — surface vehicle using the shared ground-control and waypoint contract.
DATABroad relief comes from Magellan GTDR version 2, distributed by USGS at about 4.64 km per raster pixel. Values are metre elevations above a 6,051 km reference sphere (radius = elevation + 6,051,000 m). The offline grid stores 16 cells per degree, about 6.6 km per cell at the equator. Smooth display meshes and interpolation add no measured detail. Missing values remain unknown; the pack grid covers the globe, but measurements do not cover every location.
SCENARIOPick one in MISSION OBJECTIVES — SURVEY ROUTE: visit survey points A→B→C in order · SAMPLE RETURN: collect both samples, then return to the start · HAZARD TRAVERSE: cross the rough terrain belt to the station · FREE DRIVE: no objectives, no scoring. The active goal also shows under the scenario selector.
OBJECTIVEReach the marked sites while managing slope risk and battery; a deterministic scorecard grades the run.
FLOWPLAN → AUTO → REPORT
PLAN queues a hazard-aware route, AUTO drives it, REPORT opens the mission summary. Manual drive and tap-to-waypoint stay available at any time.

Click a site marker or choose from the list, drag Venus to rotate, then LAND into the high-quality local driving field.
Every destination uses the same continuous global Magellan-derived terrain; close detail and the fictional rover are synthetic educational layers.
